Summer Internship

In the summer of 2023, I had an internship at JLG Architects in Sioux Falls, SD. I was a interior design student intern from June 1st to August 15th. I worked with a few other interior designers and architects in the office. I worked on a variety of tasks which included organizing materials library, answering emails, attending meetings, choosing materials, researching sustainability for LEED projects, attending material representative meetings, creating presentations, going on site visits, tracking inventory on projects, and collaborating with other designers. It was a great experience where I was able to learn a lot of new skills and learn what it was like to work in the workforce for interior design.
